turbo charger: one AA to charge mobile, ipod etc ?

Post by fever16 »

hello all
i used my mintyboost in a lot of ways.for charging ipod, lighting LED's etc.every thing worked well except for my mobiles(samsung c100,nokia 6131).(it appears like charging started but soon the charging status went off) hmmmmm...
so if 2 batteries with 800ma of current couldn't do it how the hell a single AA done this job.i find this link really disturbing.have a look

http://www.supplierlist.com/made_in_chi ... turers.htm

those chargers dont work very well.
the reason the mintyboost doesnt work with your cell is because of the cable, not the power. most cell phone companies do tricky things with their cables.

that means if i can make the cable compatible with the mobile will mintyboost work?
the how can we figure it out.i mean pin connections of mobiles?
i think if we can make minty boost work with mobiles,it will be a huge hit.so some effort has to be made toward the moded cables for most general type of mobiles.
