I dont know id this is the right forum but i want your opinions on my idea. It is combining the nes ipod controller hack

but with a xbox controller! all i have to do (i think?) make room in the controller by take out the non necessities (cord...i'v never took apart a xbox controller so anything else in there i dont need lol)
and somehow make a compartment for 4 AA cells and still have the easily accessible and rig the memory slot for the dock (with a mini usb)
my button layout would probly be (for doom/2) up/left/right/= thumb stick
down= L Trigger and im not if you even can wire the center but if i could either A or R trigger either do-able and im not sure how thumbsticks are wired i might have to use the directional pad anyway i just wanted to know what you guys think and if any1 can help me do this im not gunna be home for about a month so i cant even tear apart my controller
mabye even if you want to hack-the-hack put in a portable amp ( read it in the magazine MAKE 09 also theres one in BANNED HACKS i dont know the authors sorry) and like a small speaker in the back.
oops also im going to add a headphone jack
