Minty Boost v1.2 kit

Hello Users/builders,


This kit did NOT work "out of box". Please help! i am experienced at assembly,but this was rediculious...9 componenets and not work???

Symptoms:

1.) Have good batteries
2.)Double checked assemby(ie cap pol, diode pol).
3.)No +5v output at USB connector.
4.) warm parts through out PCB
5.)no solder bridges
What could be issue?
this kit Suck so far!-($20 rip-off?)
