Sorry if this question is answered somewhere already, but I did have a look around here and on the FAQ, and skimmed through the LT1302 d/s.
I'm just wondering how it works in terms of overdischarge protection for my AA NiMH rechargeables. Most of the time I would think people run this until it's out of juice. I don't want to damage my batteries. The LT1302 specifies a minimum supply voltage but I couldn't see anything specifically about overdischarge protection.
Thanks.

Re: Overdischarge Protection ?
There is no specific over-discharge detection built into the device since it is designed to work with a variety of input sources. Normally, the output voltage will start to drop before they reach the end of the discharge curve and the phone being charged will drop out of charge mode.
