Hello everyone, I'm really interested about the project MintyBoost project, but for various complications I had to buy the pieces separately by some electronics shops of my city. Since I'm not familiar with the designs of the circuits I decided to test it first on a breadboard. After making all the connections did not work, so I definitely made some mistakes connection, but I can not figure out where. So I wanted to ask if someone could show me how to connect the components of a bredboard, perhaps with the application Fritz for make things easier. Besides, I could not find the inductor that is in the list, and the seller he has given me someone to try, I put the photos so that I can advise the best. Thank you!

Re: MintyBoost on a Bredboard?
As it says in the FAQ, we can't really help you with a breadboard implementation. The Minty Boost is a tuned circuit and any change in components or layout will affect proper operation.

I'm trying to make/breadboard this kit on my own and it's not working! HELP ME!
It is pretty much impossible to get good ouput from the kit if it is breadboarded. A custom PCB or proper perf-board is essential. Most components cannot be swapped, and must be used as indicated, even if they're difficult to find in your area. All documentation is on the site.
I can't provide any support or help to 'DIYer's because of the time and difficulty in debugging these projects. Please endeavor to work out your project on your own.

Re: MintyBoost on a Bredboard?
Ok, thank you... just few thing more: i figured out where was the problem and i solved it, but now it gives me 2v or sometimes 3 volts in output instead of 5 volts. Is the lt1302cn8 much different than the lt1302cn8-05? Can i use this power inductor http://www.protostack.com/passive-compo ... ial-leaded (mine is brown, black, black, gold)?
I found another inductor but it's 102k instead of 100k, it's ok too? Because i tried all power inductors that i have in home and they all gives me anyway 2-3 volts. Thank you.
