I'm making this for my Project @ School but I need some information First.

Can its actually damage an Mp3 Player of someone ?

and I didnt understand the thing like changing a resistor or a capacitor for different Mp3 player.

No, you're pretty safe using this. It has no more chance breaking an iPod than using a program like copyPod. Yes, it's possible, but no it's not going to happen.

As for changing the resistor values, as far as I can tell, Apple makes you do that to prevent people from making chargers like this. They want to be able to control exactly who can make accessories, so they make tiny changes to screw us over.
