MintyBoost without resistors?

Post by magician13134 »

I just finished making my homemade MintyBoost, since I'm new to this, I opted for the single sided prototype, but that means there's no resistors, and I've heard some stories about iPods not charging with the wrong resistor values... My original 5th gen video seemed to charge fine, but I'm not sure, should it work, or do I need to add anything to it? Thanks

Hmm, any idea how to add those to the original circuit without causing too much grief? (Board must remain single sided) And what kind of effects can I expect without using them? I've charged my iPod several times already, and it seems to be working fine.
