Has anyone used a small wind turbine to charge the lipo battery in a mintyboost (like the hand-bag) instead of using the solar panel. For that matter could you use both. I am wanting to charge my phone over night on camping trips and would like a backup to the solar.
I have seen the posts about making sure there is a diode in the setup, so I assume it was tried. But could not find if anyone has done it.
Thanks
Wind turbine to mintyboost lipo instead of solar

You also want to make sure that your turbine output voltage does not exceed the rating of the LiPo charger.I have seen the posts about making sure there is a diode in the setup,

I would need to keep the source (wind turbine) regulated to 6V 3.4W, or as close to the solar panel output as possible.

The voltage is what you need to regulate. The watts depends on how much current is drawn by the load. (In this case the charger)I would need to keep the source (wind turbine) regulated to 6V 3.4W, or as close to the solar panel output as possible.
