Battery Example Size

Post by vitaminmoo »

Is it just me, or is the battery linked in make (http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?P ... rodID=1086) actually too big for this application? It looks to me like it will overlap all four standoffs.

Heh, I noticed that. The only decent one which looks like it would fit was this:

There's one with a built in PCB but that is too long so you have to put the PCB at the side. Same circuit protection board for other battery will work for this.

A perfect battery for your application is a ThunderPower Pro lite 1320mah battery. If you buy the TP1320-2SPL, all you need to do is modify the battery to be in a parallel configuration giving you 3.7V @ 2640mah capacity. Thunderpower batteries are proven to last a long time compared to generic batteries and have a discharge rate of 13C. It will also survive hunders of charge cycles other batteries may not.

Plus this particular battery fits perfectly in the wave bubble.
