More powerful MMIC amp

Post by hxhl95 »

Hi all,

The following MMIC amp seems more powerful than the BANNED-84 currently used in the 2010 design:

Am I mistaken, or is there a reason the BANNED was chosen over this and many other similar amps?

Thanks :)

You may read the datasheet carefully and compare to the BANNED.

May I list some key features to compare:

1dB compression point: 8dBm
Saturated output power: 12dBm
Input (drive) power: -21dBm
