How to program SpokePoV under Linux

Postby machtelt » Sat Aug 27, 2011 3:05 pm

Hello,

I was hoping to find a comprehensive README or something for getting the SpokePoV customized using my Linux box. I read the post about the port to Linux, but first of all this seems to be using rather old software versions, and second, when I try to download the patch files from jacob.hoffman-andrews.com it says "No route to host" (while the host can still be resolved).

So, this being the year 2011, how do I start?

Thanks for reading this,

Machtelt.

If there is anything I can do to motivate you, like sending some Belgian beer or so... ;-)

If you try to compile the code we have up, you can drink the beer yourself :)

Is there a Makefile started for a Linux build? If I wanted to try it out, should I start with the contents of the macosx Makefile?
