We are having difficulty programming our POV display. We are running Windows XP Pro SP2 using the parallel dongle kit. Our dongle is
correctly assembled and the POV's initialize correctly cycling through
each led in order on power up. We have read multiple forum posts
regarding similar issues and have tried many solutions. We have
installed giveio.exe and the pov software multiple times and confirmed that our parallel port is enabled.
I encountered a few forum posts regarding setting the Port name? Is
this something we need to consider and if so what do we need to do and
how? Can you point us in any other helpful directions? Thank you much.
Also is there something i should do regarding the firmware that is on the download page? Is so what and how? Thanks again.
