can you post the image here? of course that would make debugging a lot easier :)

sure thing. here it is... is what I would be saying if I didnt get "The extension bmp is not allowed" when trying to load up the file. ??? Is there a forum for losers who need help using forums?
so I uploaded the original JPEG i used to cut bmp from...

... the bmp was a hefty 344 Kb, could that have been the problem when uploading to POV??

Are you aware that you'd don't directly upload the BMP image to the SpokePOV, but that here is an intermediate step where you overlay the BMP file onto the wheel image?

Maybe I'm missing something obvious here, but that is a JPG you have there, not a 1bit BMP.

sry for long absence...

@kayrock66: I'm able to write the sample images that came with POV software, so the hardware and software work. But when I make a .bmp file in Photoshop (I tried 1 bit too) -- get that header error.

Is there a thread that discusses importing files or creating your own BMPs?

@bronto: you are absolutely right - that's a JPEG. When I try to attach my BMP file get "extension bmp not allowed" error.

Thanks in advance for any help
