"Vectorizing" software

Post by adafruit »

http://www.ladyada.net/resources/laser/ ... l#software

Its good to have a way to vectorize lower quality images so they look good on the laser cutter. I've put up some starters, Any other suggestions?

I believe the About link covers the best options on the market.

they didn't mention Potrace: http://potrace.sf.net/

Potrace comes built-in with inkscape.

also, a little published feature of autotrace is the -centerline feature, which can come in very handy if you want to do more than just get the exact outline of what you're tracing.
