It's all about the images.

I thought I'd start a new topic about images.

Where do you get your images?

What are your thoughts about taking images off the Web without permission? (I'm sorely tempted, but unwilling.)

Do you subscribe to ClipArt.com or GettyImages or other such service?

Do your client's usually come in with images in hand or on disk?

Any thoughts?

Cool! I'll check them out. So far I've been using iStockphoto and Clipart.com. Both are reasonably priced ans have god selections. iStock is more hip. Clipart has the Dover publications.
Thanks for the tip about Scroller.

I think at some level just about anything works. I recently did a DiNovo Edge Keyboard and I just repeated a "filligree style" motif that I got from a Metal door mat that I found online. I photoshopped out the edges and blended them together for the final piece using copy/paste.

It totally worked and you can't beat the price.
