Fume Extractor

Hi, we are just starting our laser engraving service. Thinking of getting a Purex Laserex Alpha.

Just wondering, what extractor and filter are everyone else using and what is the pros and cons of having one?

Any thoughts on the choice of scrubbers? I'm leaning towards the Electrocorp over the Purex but my reseller mentioned their use of another option. We're going to be doing some lasering indoors so we'll need a good one occasionally. What is everyone else using?

Isn't the machine enclosed anyway? Just vent to outside, no?

The smaller recirculating designs use activated charcoal and the like, so cost more and have higher running costs. I've got one for my solder station, and I'd rather have it vented outside, even with that little smoke.

I just got an old Epilog Summit 25 (from 1994!) and it works great, but I can't do much without a decent fume extractor...

In my case, it's not really an extractor so much as a really big vacuum,
