Okay, I got the money together and got a laser last year (actually a bit more than a year ago) and I am a total chicken butt about using it!
Don't get me wrong, I am technical. I was working for internet biz as early as 1994 and was a QA software tech for Yahoo and Sony Online entertainment.
But I think my biggest hurdle is getting comfortable with trying to create a vector image so I can cut and Corel Draw seems to be the most commonly used software for that. However, my background is PaintShop Pro and am finding it slow to learn Corel.
Anyone with experience, suggestions, or even a sympathetic ear, would be deeply appreciated. I best learn hands-on, with someone beside me, rather than looking at a book. I wish there were a boot camp for learning to use a laser cutter!!
Thanks!
