Can you cut perma-proto boards in half?

Hello, I'm working on a VERY tiny project with VERY limited space, and the quarter-sized perma-proto board is still about 2x as large as I need. Is it possible to cut these in half down the center? Thanks.

Totally, yeah. My preferred tool is a scroll saw with a tile-cutting (carbide-coated) blade, cleaning up the edge on a belt sander afterward.
