Problem with mini thermal printer

Hello,

It appears that there is a problem with my thermal printer. After doing
a bit of investigation, I have the exact same problem as these two folks do:

I got the sample twitter arduino sketch to work in the tutorial, but I got
the similar results as the person in Link 1. I would get a line of dots and
then the last few letters of the tweet in the second line.

I took the arduino out of the circuit and just tried to print the test
pattern by holding down the pattern while powering on (I ordered the starter
kit), but I only got the line "CP437" repeating over and over.

Well, I fixed my own problem. Perhaps the connections weren't tight enough to the Female DC Power adapter to screw terminal block? I removed the wires from the terminal block, reinserted ,and then retightened. Walah! The green light seems to be pulsing brighter too. So, I guess the printer was getting power but not enough?

Anyway.. hope this may help someone else with the same problem!
