Breadboard PS Inductive Kickback Experiments

Postby wikenator » Mon Jan 28, 2013 1:21 pm

Since the breadboard power supply (ID 184) has built-in short circuit protection, I'm guessing that inductive kickback experiments will not work. Is there any way to "disable" the short circuit protection without damaging the board?

The short-circuit protection is a function of the MIC2941AWT voltage regulator. There are no individual components you can remove or disable and still have a working regulator.
