Perma-Proto Small Mint Tin Size Breadboard

Post by berko »

Hello,
Quick question. I am looking at using either a small mint tin breadboard or a 1/4 sizedperma-proto breadboard and was wondering if a DIP IC will span over the power rails in the small mint tin.
I will be using a 555 timer and want to make sure i can plug it in to the rows above and below the power rails.
you have one on hand and could stick it in really fast that will save me some effort.
thanks,
jon

I just downloaded Eagle and would like to draw up a quick plan before i start soldering stuff to the proto board.
do you have templates for anything you guys sell?
Right now i am specifically interested in the small mint tin proto board but may want others in the future as well.
thanks,
jon
