Hi, I was just wondering if there was any hope for my MPL115A2 breakout circuit? I had it continually gathering data via a RaspberryPi and it was working fine, and then all of the sudden it was just gone. It had been running almost two weeks with out any problems. After it disappeared, I tried i2cdetect, but it also could no longer find it. I had had it outside at the end of about 10 ft of a phone line cable (nicely had 4 wires). When I brought it in and plugged it directly into the breadboard, still no luck. I plugged another i2c board in and detected it was just fine. When I tried to plug the MPL115A2 in with the other i2c device I noticed it pulling enough voltage that it dimmed the LED on the other working device.
Is there anything I can/should check before tossing it into the circular file?
Thanks for any help or ideas you can send my way.

Re: MPL115A2 failure
Can you post some clear, detailed pictures of both sides of your breakout board?
