I need a sensor to place underneath bed mattress to monitor if person is lying there.
so I'm wandering between these options:
Long Flex/Bend sensor
Extra-long force-sensitive resistor (FSR)
Round Force-Sensitive Resistor (FSR) - Interlink 402
are these flexible enough?
Pressure-Sensitive Conductive Sheet (Velostat/Linqstat)
is this sensitive enough for such project?
Thanks!
looking for soft sensor..

Re: looking for soft sensor..
The thicker the mattress is, the larger sensor you will need to detect the pressure. You will probably need to experiment a bit to find something that works well. FSR's work through chair cushions. For a mattress, a velostat sensor may be more effective.
