MotorDriverShield L293D (Adafruit) with MSP430

Post by AngelOfEffekt »

Hi there,

I got a motor driver shield and want to connect it with my MSP430 microcontroller, but did not find an clear documentation of what pin is used for what. So it's very difficult connect the shield in the propper way.

Is there an documentation with each pin explained? Or maybe someone has already enough experience to explain how to connect my MSP430 with the shield?

The shield I'm talking about:

Hope you can help me out.

Thanks for that information. I must have missed this point when I scaned through earlier.

I have another Question about the topic:
I am developing with Energia. Other tools I was trying where not compatible with this microcontroller.

I'm not really sure whether the example scetches of energia works in the same way how libraries build right for the Shield (I think). So I was trying use the following example which looked very usefull indeed.
https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit-Mo ... ld-library
But it wants some libraries energia seemes not to provides me with. E.g. inttypes.h.
I was looking for it already but was not able to find this library.

Have anyone experience about the examples in energia to use them for the shield?
Or maybe a place where i can find these libraries?

Thanks!
