Bluefruit EZ Key is not discoverable

Post by husher23 »

I just got the Bluefruit EZ Key to build a custom remote controller for my Glass.

When I powered it on, the pairing LED flashes about once per second. It should mean it is discoverable.
But none of my computer(Retina Macbook Pro) or my phone(iPhone 4S) is able to discover the Bluefruit.
I tried resetting with the RS pin, press and hold the onboard pairing button and a few power cycles with no luck.
The battery is the 3.7V 1200mAh one suggested in the tutorial.

Any suggestions?

So, this is not the slow, lazy blink - this is the 1 second blink. Yes, that should mean that it's in pairing mode, and it should be discoverable.

Please email [email protected] with a link to this thread, and they're get you a replacement EZ Key.
