Hi,
for xmas I bought my kid your OWI robot arm.
It's a pretty nice kit and we've had fun assembling it until... we got to the gearbox assembly (step 26 in the manual). The part # N1 has stripped/damaged threads, so we are not able to tighten the 2 gearbox halves together, because the screw (#P17) is free spinning in it.
There was also a missing screw in the kit, part #P11.
Do you guys keep some spares in stock? I would really like to get those parts, because it's impossible to complete the project without them.
My order # is 384662
Thanks in advance for your help resolving this.
Christian.

Re: Problem w/ robot arm
These come as sealed kits from OWI, so we don't stock individual spare parts. I can check to see if there are any open-boxes.
Stripped threads are not difficult to repair. I usually shave a bit of scrap plastic into the hole and add a drop of plastic cement. Then gently screw the part in and let the cement dry. Spare odd-size screws is another story. I'll see what I can find.
** Update ** We do not have any spares for these. If you contact [email protected] they should be able to help you out.
