Part: 8-channel Bi-directional Logic Level Converter - TXB0108
I understand all the pins except the one marked "OE". It's right across from the GND pin. Also is that GND pin common to both HV and LV suppiles?
Thanks,
Jim.
What's the function of OE pin on the 8 bit level converter?

Ground is common.
OE is Output Enable. It must be driven high for the device to work.

Nice to know. Might save someone a headache or two if you mentioned that in the specs for the part.adafruit_support_rick wrote:Ground is common.

There is a pullup on the board. It is enabled by default.Might save someone a headache or two if you mentioned that in the specs for the part.

So it's purpose to disable the gates if pulled low, otherwise the gates are enabled?adafruit_support_bill wrote:There is a pullup on the board. It is enabled by default.Might save someone a headache or two if you mentioned that in the specs for the part.

Yup. The default is all pins enabled, but you can turn them all off with that pin.
