Hey all,
I need to measure a change in resistor in a conductive rubber preciselly. I wanna know how much current can I pass through the rubber plus, do you have any idea about DC or AC current, I would rather to use a DC measurement on current to get rid of noises.
Thanks,
Sardar

Re: Conductive rubber Current
DC will work. You only need a very small amount of current per inch to read the rubber.

Thanks for you response. Do you have any estimation about current? I wanna see if you know any upper threshold or not. I need that to do some estimation about design a reader.
Thanks

Re: Conductive rubber Current
I don't understand your question about current. Do you want to run a lot of current? Or very little current?

I mean, can I pass for example 100 mili amp through that or not? Is there any datasheet to show the character of rubber in different currents?

Re: Conductive rubber Current
we dont have a specification, we suggest keeping it at ~10mA
