Cable or something to avoid solder on shield pins

Post by gosbrut »

Hello,
I have the arduino, then a motor shield that comes pinned, and then mounted the tft 2.8 shield.
I need, as show in the picture, a way to put cables connected to several pins,in this example to get 5V and ground from motor shield, but on the other side i want to connect 5 buttons so to inputs 1-4.
Problem is that im a newbie on soldering and i dont want to crash the pieces or try & learning during weeks,
I think matybe are some kind of cable that allows me or help me to put cables from breadboard to between the shield, how ? alternative ?

The wing shield is the best way to get access to pins between shields: http://www.adafruit.com/products/196

Question, how much increase the size (height) ?

The middle photos i dont understand whats on top, a same piece of the proto-shield or another component not from that for show purspose ?

But, heyy it comes unsoldered ?
if so, do not solve my problem cause i dont know how to solder and i dont want to spend time with soldering techniques, Could you send me that soldered, like the 2.8 tft shield (annd not like adafruit motor shield) ?

The Wing shield will increase the stack height by approximately 12mm.
The middle photo shows the wing shield on top of an Arduino Uno.
We do not sell these pre-assembled.
