RGB Color Sensor TCS34725 & Electric Imp

I would like to interface the RGB Color Sensor TCS34725 with the Electric Imp to sample color values and allow other devices to grab that value via web services to set the color of various RGB LEDs. I've been able to this with multiple Raspberry Pis but Id like to get the sensor side of it down to something handheld and rechargeable. Someone has had to have written some sample code for this, right? I have the gear, just need code. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not a proficient programmer but good at building what I need from reasonable examples.
