Thermal Printer on Arduino Diecimila

I am considering buying the Mini Receipt Thermal Printer as a gift for someone who already owns an Arduino Diecimila. Would it work with this board? Or should I also get a board with more memory (UNO, Mega...)?

Hi there,

The printer should work fine with the Diecimila; the library is not especially memory-hungry.

If printing graphics, the maximum bitmap size may be limited by flash space, but the example program does fit (uses 10K of the 14K maximum).
