EZ-Key not sending key presses

Hi, I have recently purchased an EZ-key.
It boots, pairs just fine, all voltages are fine (supply, 3V and input pins) but when I take any of the key pins to ground nothing happens - Key LED doesn't flash, no keystroke is sent. Looks like I may have one of the bad batch (viewtopic.php?f=19&t=54062&p=273193&hilit=EZKey#p273193), can I get a replacement please?
I bought this through nicegear.co.nz, they have asked me to check whether to deal direct or through them. I do need a replacement asap please.

The bookkeeping will be easier.. and the replacement time for you will probably be faster.. if nicegear.co.nz replaces the one you have then contacts us for a replacement of their own.
