Powerboost 500C, can it be powered by Flexible 6V 1W Solar P

Post by seabson »

I would like to use Flexible 6V 1W Solar Panel to connect with PowerBoost 500C by this micro usb interfece.

Can PowerBoost 500C allow to input 6V and charge 3.7V/4.2V Li-ion battery without problem?

thank you

It is not really a good choice for solar. Solar charging requires a charger designed to handle the output characteristics of solar panels. See this guide for details: https://learn.adafruit.com/usb-dc-and-s ... sign-notes
