AR1100 and riotboard

I have a riotboard running 4.3.

I currently have a mouse and keyboard connected but i wanted to use a 7" HDMI Display with a touchscreen using the ar1100. I purchased all of that from Adafruit because of the claims that if a mouse works the ar1100 will work. However when i plug the ar1100 in I am not able to control the mouse or really seem to be able to do much of anything.

If i plug it into my pc it works but it looks like my xy connections may be reversed, but that's not a problem.

Does anyone know what i must do to get the ar1100 to work with a android dev kit? Is there perhaps a different usb or way to connect the touch panel to the riot board?
