usbtiny programmer using ATtiny2313v?
hi guys can i used ATtiny2313v (5.5v @ max xternal crystal of 10MHz) instead of ATtiny2313 (5.5v @ max xternal crystal of 20MHz) in making this usbtiny programmer? my problem is this ATtiny2313v is the only available in our market and this usbtiny programmer is using 12MHz external xtal. Is it possible to edit the firmware using 10MHz for attiny2313v? if possible can someone help me? i believe that when designing it is at its best if you are following the IC datsheet specifications..thanks in advance..! The firmware needs to run at 12mhz to function with USB.
Many 10mhz rated parts will run at 12mhz, but of course Atmel does not support such "over clocking."

I have build usbtiny using attiny2313V and my laptop win7 64bit detected usbtiny device and green light is on. but I didnt program any IC yet. I will try soon.
sdb : do you think I may face problem to program atmega32 using this usbtiny build by attiny2313V ?

It is worth trying.
I think the usbtiny should be capable of programming the atmega32.
Your usb tiny is running the attiny out of spec, so the only thing to do is try it and verify for yourself.
How did you program the attiny?

Its a Happy Day indeed. usbtiny using attiny2313V is working fine and I have tested with atmega32A and atmega8L.
I have tested with single led blinking program.
Thank you all for supporting.
