what if box pin vcc gets 24v

Post by yeshsurya »

I purchased a usbasp programmer while providing external power supply for target microcontroller I mess up by giving 24v DC to box pin (IDC),then both the green and red light of programmer got glowing, and from the windows is not detecting the programmer now, it's detecting it as "unknown device" can any one tell me the which part could have damaged ? Physically all parts are looking good without any black spots. Any help would be appreciated. Thank u in advance,
