Replacing ATtiny2313

Post by leoh »

Hi,

It looks like I managed to damage my ATtiny2313 chip. I was hoping to finish building the USBtinyISP this weekend and I can get a ATtiny2313 from a local store.

Is is possible for me to use this chip?

Thanks.

If you want to program it yourself, the firmware files are on the download page: http://www.ladyada.net/make/usbtinyisp/download.html
Otherwise, we do stock pre-programmed chips here: http://www.adafruit.com/products/54

Great. Is there any way I can use the SpokePov parallel programmer to program the chip?

I can't help you with the specifics, but it should be possible. That is the same processor used in the SpokePOV.
