Trouble resetting terminal on MAc

I tried to upgrade to new version of CrossPack which supports atmega 168A, now avrdude doesn't work and get
unknown required load command 0x80000022
Trace/BPT trap........... when I type in avrdude.



I neglected also to deinstall Crosspack when I did the upgrade

How do I get avrdude to work again on my MacBook Pro running OSX 10.5.8 and Crosspack???

Crosspack includes avrdude, correct? Maybe you somehow wound up with mismatched versions. I would drag it all to the trash and start over.
Make sure you go into your Library folder and get rid of any preference files, anything in Library/Application Support, etc.
