Putting leonardo bootloader into an Atmega32u4?

Post by 0miker0 »

Im wondering if the USBtinyISP can program a leonardo bootloader into an AtMega32u4? I tried and the error I get is: avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0080
0x0c != 0x96
avrdude: verification error; content mismatch

I've done it in the past, yes. For whatever reason though, I would get a similar error if attempting this from a Mac...no prob doing it from a Windows machine.

I unplugged everything, plugged it all back in and it worked a second time. Nice!

FYI that I ended up using a resonator instead of the recommended crystal and it works fine. I guess I just lucked out on this one.
