OK, so I still cannot get my usbtiny to program my atmega168. I have ordered fresh mega168s, and still no go. I think I have a wiring error. Here is how my connections go...
pinout
USBTiny - mega168
1 - 18
2 - 7/21/20
3 - 19
4 - 17
5 - 1
6 - 8/22
since the chip has an internal oscillator, I have not connected an external oscillator. I have also tried powering the chip from the usbtiny, and from an external source.
I have been able to talk to a Atmel Butterfly board, but I just can't seem to fix my problem using a breadboard.
I am using a Mac, OSX 10.4.11 Intel.
Below is my terminal screen output.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
