usb not recognized

usb not recognized

hey,,,,,,,,

can you help me,,,,,

when i plugged in my usb,,, it says usb not recognized,,,, :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

have you installed the usb driver for it?

If you're running spokepov look here http://www.ladyada.net/make/spokepov/download.html

or if you're using it as a general ISP programmer look here http://www.ladyada.net/make/usbtinyisp/download.html

I believe the only difference between the two is the name recognised in windows but I could be wrong there.

if you post a clear photo of the top and bottom of the kit i can look and see if its something simple

forgive me,,,

it was a little accident,,,,

now my usb is detected,,,,,

but, now i can't detect target,,,,,

does the target need same crystal????

or i can use different crystal for the target ???????????

If the target chip has fuses set for an external crystal, that chip must be present in the circuit to program it.
(You've made a target board, right?)
