Gemma upload problem

Post by yvonne »

Hi!

I'm trying to upload a strandtest sketch onto my Gemmas.
When I used OS X 10.8.5 I installed the suggested Adafruit Flora, Gemman, Trinket Arduino IDE, set it to Gemma and USBtinyISP, pressed the boot loader. It blinks like gangbusters. I press the upload button immediately, and get the message on the screenshot.

Using BANNED, the compiler gets stuck about midway and cannot upload before the bootloader times out.

Suggestions? Thanks much! Yvonne

I haven't seen any issues like this with BANNED. All I can suggest is to try a different USB port, try a different USB cable, try connecting through a powered hub.

Also, if you have a wireless mouse, disconnect the USB transmitter. If you have VMware, that might have to be stopped.
