If you are getting a lot of USB read errors or USB device not found errors and it can be fixed by unplugging and replugging the USB cable to the USBtiny, then solder a wire to the "self pgm" jumper pad (it's the hole on the left) and another to any ground connection, and add a push button, hold the push button for a few seconds if you get the error, and the programmer will go back to normal.

cute! :)
but i think many 'sync' problems were solved by going with 3.6v zener diodes instead of 3.3v. do you recall which ones you have?
