Grey serial port, with Gemma

Post by Ninjadk »

I just simply cant connect the Gemma, to me PC. The serial port keep being grey no mater what I do. Is their any obvious solution I might have missed. I have had the Gemma working on another PC; and i have been doing the same on this. In both ways I used the fast method.

I really like the Gemma and your product, which is the reason I could like to understand what I might be doing wrong.

Regards

The Gemma and Trinket will NOT show up as a serial connection. You need to load the USBtinyISP driver for Windows (no driver for Mac)

Set the Board Type to Gemma 8 MHz, set the programmer as USBtinyISP

Press the reset button then upload your program within 10 seconds.

Voila, your program is running.
