Duemilanove problem

Post by Aaron »

I've had my Duemilanove for about a week now and have loaded a couple of sketches to it, including the blinking LED sketch, and it all worked fine. But tonight when I plugged in my board to my computer, my computer does not recognize it and the RX, TX, L, and PWR LEDs are continuously on. What happened? Did something get shorted out? I haven't had anything plugged into yet. Thanks in advance for your help.

sounds like the board got fried, possibly from ESD or another shock. you could try another usb cable or port but if the FTDI chip was bonked its kind of the end of the arduino :(
