Hello! I'm a fresh newbie to electronics and know essentially nothing (I can tell you what volts and ohms and amps are and that's about it.) I saw the Wired article and read some stuff about Arduinos and decided to try the starter kit. It arrived today and, embarassingly, attaching the rubber feet has got me stumped. It seems like there are lots of holes and little metal pads on the bottom of the Arduino Uno and they might be important.
My question, simply: is there anything I shouldn't cover up with my rubber feet, or can I just put them on willy-nilly?
Attaching feet - is there a wrong way?

Just find 4 flat-ish places near the corners. Don't worry about covering the holes. If you decide to mount it more permanently using the holes, the feet can be peeled off easily.
