Hey folks,
Excitedly received and unwrapped my experimentation kit, starting to tinker.
Does anyone know if the fuses are properly set when the uno is shipped? I've opted to use command-line interface rather than the IDE, and after reading all the cautions about bricking your chip, would rather not type anything potentially dangerous (like writing fuses) into avrdude until I understand better what I'm doing.
For what it's worth, the "blinky light" sketch works fine. If the fuses were misconfigured, I assume there would be some spectacular kind of failure mode?
Thanks.
