Where to find additional affordable basic components?

Post by eejdoowad »

So, I really love my Arduino, but I'm starting to feel like I'm running out of basic parts. The kit I purchased had just enough resistors, capacitors, leds, switches, etc. for me to make very basic things, but now I feel like I need more. Is it possible for me to purchase a Starter Pack minus the Arduino? I know I can buy the parts individually, but the convenience of a prearranged kit would be great. I'm also hoping to save a little by buying multiple parts at the same time. Thanks

It depends on what you want to do. We have 'starter packs' targeted for specific types of projects such as the Motor Party and Music & Sound packs. There is the Sensor Pack and various multi-packs of switches, leds and other basic components.

Most of our sensors, displays and other components come packaged with 'extras', such as any resistors, transistors, and interface IC's needed to get them up and running.
