Boarduino pins is like arduino?

Postby elissaios » Sat Oct 20, 2012 6:41 am

Hallo to all,i am new here and i didnt know where to put my question so i opened a new topic.

I have bought boarduino but all the tutorials are about arduino.SO i want to ask boarduino 28 "pins"(or "feets" i dont know the which is the right word) are exacly the same output with arduino?

And the output of 28 pins is same with the output of atmega320 microcontroller or not?

Thanks.

The Boarduino uses the same Atmega-328 processor as the Arduino. The Boarduino pins are in different locations, but the output is the same 0-5v and you program them the same way. The Bootloader is compatible with the Arduino Duemilanove.

I want to start doing this tutorial http://www.ladyada.net/learn/arduino/

For example at lesson 1 which you put a led on arduino says "The longer leg goes in the hole marked 13 and the shorter one goes in the hole marked GND" .Maybe this example is about built in leds but in other exaple i will use the pins of boarduino. So i have to know the pins output of boarduino to use it(which as you said is different from arduino)

Use pin 13, just as with the Arduino. The location is different (because the board is a different size and shape). But the pin names are the same.
