RF-T4 Operating voltage

Post by dad »

Power for the RF-T4 board is marked 5.0 Vdc. The postings indicate it can operate to 10.0 Vdc. The PT2272 datasheet indicates operational voltage up to 15.0 Vdc, and the LM358 is not an issue. I would like to power the device from well controlled automotive power. Is there another voltage limitation that is not so obvious?

There are also indicator leds on the board. It is possible that the current limiting resistors for these were specced for a 5-10v range.
